Mountain Everest Max keyboard review

The Mountain Everest Max keyboard is the one we’re reviewing today. It’s not the first product of this German manufacturer that we got, as we check already the Makalu 67 mouse. But let’s get back to the keyboard topic - the first information about the Everest Max appeared on the web around March ’20. At first, it was available on Kickstarter, but it was (and is) possible to buy it on the manufacturer’s website.

The reviewer notes the keys are ABS not PBT and complains about that fact. Might I suggest he toss a few PBT keys on this board and see how they sound? PBT doesn't shine because it is a harder material but that also makes it prone for more of an annoying ping sound especially with aluminum base plates. It might be they choose ABS keys so the keyboard is more dampened.

Yeah, that's ugly. And 289 EUR with PBT caps. The world's gone mad.

That is actually a nice looking keyboard. Not too flashy or gimmicky like most. And I love Cherry Browns. It would be nice if the numpad had an optional cord so you could move it somewhere else without the whole keyboard though.
