another game where i dont see anything remotely justify the acquisition of an RTX card. At least not for the current price.
it looks good otherwise but i expected more of a difference from the ON/OFF comparison.

Going by those images, it really only looks like more light sources (actual lights) and added reflections.

Haven't played the game yet, so will take it with a pinch of salt. However, if that's all it is in effect, I don't think current gen cards are going to make much use of this tech.

Ooooh I like the slider for RTX on the screenshot. That's a nice touch.

I'd be interested in seeing 4K and 1440p results without (or at least, reduced) AA. I'm sure performance numbers won't look so abysmal there.

I was hoping to be able to play this at 1440p with my good old i5 2500k @4.8Ghz CPU and a Nvidia 1070 GPU but this article is making me think otherwise... :(
Am i wrong?

The game is heavily GPU bottlenecked. Your 1070 can already get playable framerates at 1440p with maxed out AA. I'm sure you'll be fine.

Of course, this depends on whether you find 30FPS playable. I would.
