Introduction

MOH WarFighter Graphics performance Explored with 23 graphics cards

The Medal of Honor series has been around like forever and the reason for that is simple, it is a successful and appealing gaming franchise. For the new Medal of Honor Warfighter game things have changed, an upgraded game philosophy and a kick-ass DirectX 11 game engine ensures that we graphics minded guru's will have a sincere focus at the game. Hey, great gameplay and good graphics on a PC, that's just awesome.

Medal of Honor Warfighter (MOH Warfighter) is a first person shooter game which is being developed by Danger Close Games and published by EA. It is both a single-player and multiplayer game. The gameplay of Warfighter includes six different classes which are Assault, Sniper, Demolitions, Point Man, Heavy Gunner, and Spec Ops. It uses a fire team system where two people must work together and there are certain perks to working as a team. "Support-actions" return in Warfighter, and now have a bigger impact on the gameplay and how one approaches situations. Also, when one acquires a kill-streak, the player is given a choice on of one or the other, larger kill pile-ups will have greater rewards.

It is the 14th installment in the Medal of Honor franchise, and the direct sequel to Medal of Honor 2012 series. Here at Guru3D we are excited about the game because it will run on Frostbite 2 engine which delivers destructive environments, high quality audio and great 3D graphics.

Remember that the Frostbite 2 engine is the same engine which was used for battlefield 3.

This means that Medal of Honor Warfighter system requirements will be more demanding, however, the game will have some of the most advanced visuals and graphics of any game on the market. Here are the full PC specs for the game:

The story starts off with where the last Medal of Honor left with Preacher returning in a pivotal role. The game's creative director, Richard Farrelly, stated that the game will offer a peak into the personal lives of these Tier 1 operative including how their job affects their families. While it is yet to be seen how this unfolds but it looks very promising. Bringing in an emotional perspective into the action warfare brings in a sense of empathy and that tends to work quite well with the audiences as one saw in Hurt Locker.

Truth be told, the Medal of Honor series has always caught me, making me spend way too much time on it. For Medal of Honor Warfighter, as stated, the graphics engine has been updated towards the Frostbite 2 engine, the game is now DirectX 11 compatible. And as such it is time to throw a couple of graphics cards at it to see how well the game performs with DX11 cards Anno 2012.
