Guru3D Rig of the Month 2010 competition series
square-rig-of-the-month.jpgEach month here at Guru3D.com we feature one of you guys, your PC, your DIY project. It is quite honestly amazing how much detail and dedication you put into an PC, and every now and then it really shows. This months was particular difficult as we have received many entries, and the build quality was so very fine that we had a tremendous task of picking one winner.

This months winner is Josh Sniffen, at the age of 24 he is an artist who designed a Rig for Sapphire. The end result is a stunning looking PC. Though we doubted a little to approve this PC as it is funded by them, we simply could not ignore this build as it really is sheer beauty. When you see it you'll fall in love with it.

Also an nice detail, in all the time we run the ROTM contests, this is the first ever AMD based PC !

The winner of the months Rig of the Month will receive an OCZ Technology Z Series 850W Modular PSU (80plus Gold Certified) delivered for free at it's doorsteps as a nice incentive. These PSUs feature ultra-high efficiency of 90% and have achieved the 80+ Gold Certification. OCZ strived to make the Gold Z Series a true best-in-class power supply, including a powerful single +12-volt rail design and an industrial-grade core engineered for maximum stability and reliability. Built for excellence.

3. What do you mainly use the system for?

If I am not in my shop I am at my desk, doing CAD work or playing Starcraft II, and that is what I use my systems for.  This particular system was built as a show rig for Sapphire at Quakecon 2010 and will be given away to a lucky Sapphire Select Club member this December.
