It does look ugly with that large hole in the backplate compared to my Gigabyte 3090 OC but the cooling seems to benefit so no one will care about the looks.

if you're trolling you got me I'm triggered
they obviously did that for better cooling
personal tip : 2 years ago bought two of those Ikea Alex 9 drawers and put my pcs on on of them, best decision ever my room is a dust sucking vacuum and I barely have any dust in my cases now (all intake have filters obviously) but still placing them higher than your desk is something I would not go back from
noise is also better as long as you have minimal or full-on liquid cooling but then if your pc is all air cooled placing it lower makes things even worse dust-wise
I concur, I fabbed up a skeletonised platform to mount my pc about 15cm off the ground, even with the airflow configured to suck in through the front, blow out through the top/back and no mesh on the top there is only minimal dust in the case despite years of neglect

It's like with the 3090... when you spend that much on a gpu in the first place, why go cheap and get the discount model? Might aswell spent a bit more and get one of the good versions (aka strix or suprim)
