For a tenner or two more you can purchase the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Gaming 'OC edition' from Gigabyte, a product with more a triple fan cooler as well being factory tweaked towards an 1860 MHz boost frequency. Based on dual fans and improved looks the card performs well on all fronts, including cooling acoustic levels.

The 1660 Ti is a very interesting card. Strange naming, and sort of hybrid architecture. Personally I think it's the "sweet spot" card that Nvidia has been needing for a long time. I've read and watched pretty much every review of different models and I don't see the point in spending an extra $20-$30 dollars for a gaming version. My MSI Ventus version with it's two fan's overclocks just as good as any other model. $279 is a great price for the performance you're getting. The card trades blows with the 1070 yet in some cases it's right up there with it's bigger brother the 1070 Ti.

yea...I was gonna ask how you liked yours ...I think i'm gonna break the bank an get one.

Like you I also had a 1060gb which is still a good card. But hell I sold mine on craigslist for $150 within a couple days making the overall upgrade only $130 dollars for 30%-50% increase in performance.. I'm sure I could have asked for more but I'm a generous man.

Yep, like pretty much all of AMD's GPU offerings.

Not all. There is some good cards on both sides.

If you play bf V alot, the vega56 still blows this card outta the water, and you still get 3 AA games for free, i agree totally uninteresting card..at this price point.

In FireStrike Ultra, my MSI Ventus XS is faster.....or at least gets a higher score than this Gigabyte card....
