thanks for yet another great product review Hilbert :), had fun reading it comparing it AGAIN to my GPU :nerd: as I'm sure all of us must agree with
Geryboy, the MSI wit it's 8+6 pins is on bar with the G1 8pins, guess all these power phase control are handicapping the AIB GTX 1080 OC wise.
still can't wait for the Asus Strix Gaming Aura test results, hopefully Hilbert going to release those soon :nerd:

This was the card I was planning on getting, since the last few G1's rocked. But doesn't seem much different. So I'm leaning towards an AIO (MSI SeaHawk or EVGA version). Hopefully reviews/availability are soon.

well I guess it is offical, those power phases and extra pins don't relly do that much, on paar with the msi gaming.

yeah speed is about the same on both cards, but MSI has more efficient cooler.

MSI GAMING X = 70C 39dBA
Gigabyte G1 GAMING = 72C 41dBA

overclocking is rather poor with all gtx 1080 I guess. Boost 3.0 needs to be eliminated really.
