yet LJ Jensen thinks it's perfectly fine to charge what he is going to charge for a GPU.
nvidia has enough $'s
It's not unusual for billionaires to be slightly out of touch with the common man, who has to live paycheck to paycheck and has no savings at all in bank.

Yup - heard that...and right now, lots of people have zero paychecks, yet LJJ thinks that charging $1,400 for a graphics card is perfectly acceptable.

One day...I will see Jensen moonwalk onto the stage, wearing a backwards baseball cap and a leather jacket, with a boombox on his shoulder and then, rap the speech out.
One day.
Until then, I am at a bit of a quandary right now and am looking at these cards with all seriousness for a purchase. I am looking away from intel on CPU, that's a certain for everyone I think (unless intel pull a rabbit out of the bag, and not a sandwich) and going for AMD on cpu, but GPU? I have to go to nvidia on this, but, begrudgingly...for the simple reason that overcharging their GPU, when "everything" that is going on in the world, with millions losing jobs etc, is a very bitter pill to swallow.
A little bit like...EA charging $70 for a basketball game...it just feels totally out of place "at this moment in time"...yet LJ Jensen thinks it's perfectly fine to charge what he is going to charge for a GPU.
