GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost review 4

In this review we test and benchmark the new GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost from NVIDIA. It is their answer to the Radeon HD 7790 that AMD unleashed recently. Is entry level finally going mid-range ? Can the card play your most favorite games at FullHD aka 1920x1080/1200 ? Well let's find out as we have a reference sample in our lab. I can tell you this though, you will not be disappointed.

clock to clock a HD7850 is still faster, takes less power and costs the same.

For 300€ you can get yourself a GTX670.

I have a feeling 2 650ti-boost will be faster

Seems a bit thirsty when you compare it with the 7790.

I'm sure AMD will release another flavor with 2 GB. I would have liked to have seen the 1gb model pitted next to the 1gb 7790 to see how much the memory available impacted the comparison.

Interesting card, really. Much closer to the 660 in the benches than the 660ti is to the 670. Overclock it and you've basically made the 660 obsolete.
