Corsair RM850x (2018) power supply review

We review the RM850x power supply from Corsair. This 2018 update for the RM series now is offered in a silent RMx series that comes with 80plus Gold certification, that means it's 90% efficient at 50% load. Efficiency matters. The PSU itself is fully modular, for most of you with a side panel window in their chassis a must really as you'll want modular cables.

Corsair has been making really nice/reliable (higher end) PSU's for a couple of years now, they mostly use good components, and they give out long warranty's which shows their confidence in the products they make.
No issues with my RM1000i in about 3 years now, has been swapped around in different PC's and setups, never an issue
