We review the Corsair Force LX 256 GB SSD. Corsair recently released this new addition to their SSD lineup. The series is to compete with Samsung and Micron mostly, in both price and performance. The end result is a very capable and fast SSD that can keep up with the big guns in the market, yet remains priced in a sweet spot.

Thanks for the review. I can see some really good performance over there, especially Application Loading.
It's funny to see how they saved the costs by using a smaller PCB.

Did you experience any performance-related issues? Did iops drop after write-heavy workload?

There's one problem tho with the drive's pricing. The Crucial MX100 256GB is around €85 while the Corsair LX 256GB is going for €110.

That's a pretty big difference unfortunately.

much rather have corsair, £25 more expensive or not.
