Cooler Master MasterCase H500M review 4

We review the new MasterCase H500M from Cooler Master. The new chassis has that familiar in-house CM feel, yet was brought into the year 2018 with some nice modern features and the ability to go all stealth with the stuff you do not want to show. Intrigued? Sure you are, let's have a look, shall we?

Quite dark, so hard to understand whatever 3.5'' box is coolable. Will air go through the side of the box?

Would be really very good if reviews will have clickable original size photos to see details.

Dam this is sexy i'm probably going to be in the market for a case upgrade soon as my old Phantom is 6 years old and all my RGB kinda goes to waste.

Excellent. Case design done right. HDDs on bottom allowing direct flow from front fans to vital parts. It was just infuriating to see so many case designs over last few decades with front mounted HDD cages blocking the fans.

For some strange reason... I like it !
Too bad I already bought a Define R6, otherwise it could have been in the list of options for a next case !

@alanm
When you have a lot of HDD's they can put up quite a good amount of heat ! For example 6 HDD's in RAID all working at once can easily go up to 50W consumption during write operations, and all of that is heat. You need to get that heat away from them quickly, otherwise the drives get pretty hot !
And a too hot drive.. won't last long.

I would say most people dont have 6 HDDs in RAID. Normal usage perfectly fine with lower mounted drive cages. Would rather air flow directed to more vital parts.
