Introduction

Cogage Arrow CPU cooler

For this editor has always been very interesting to see and follow product development. A couple of years ago when the first heatpipe based coolers hit the market it literally was veni vidi vici .. ever since our first heatpipe based CPU cooler review, we were impressed by what this technology bring us in terms of cooling performance combined with excellent noise levels.

Over the years though, the market slowly saturated; there are a massive amount of players out there all delivering the stuff over and over again. I mean you can only invent the wheel once right? Well sort of .. there are some names out there that manage to consistently improve their designs and cooling performance. You can count the best manufacturers on one hand, OCZ, Cooler Master, Acrtic Cooling, Noctua and surely Thermalright is one of these names with a massive reputation. Their True 120 series to date are among the most reputable CPU coolers out there. But with time that passes even these models need an upgrade, update or simple need to be replaced. As such a  little while ago ThermalRight came up with two new cooler. The first is the Thermalright Venomous-X which we recently reviewed.

The second is a CPU cooler you guys have probably not yet heard about; it's the all new Cogage Arrow CPU cooler. And before you get confused, Cogage is a daughter brand of Thermalright.

The Cogage Arrow hints very much towards the IFX-14 but has been reshaped and modeled in the form of an arrow. Next to that we see a clever mounting system and heaps and heaps of space to use any kind of fan on there, including 140mm fans, if you desire to do so of course.

It should be a no-brainer that today we'll be looking Cogage Arrow CPU cooler. We'll test it with one, two and yes .. even three fans to see how well this four 8mm heatpipe based cooler.

Let's have a looksie at this massive chunk of metal shall we ?
