We test and review the Club3D Radeon HD 7870 Joker, this is the much discussed 7870 card that in fact has a 7900 series GPU, the Tahiti LE. hi i live on portugal and mine cost 210 euro at amazon uk club3d 7870 joker, and mine have coil whine too :\ i dont know how to fix them or rma :S

Olá,

Use a game like Crysis to stress it all day, do that at least for 3 days to see if it works. It have worked for some guys before so give it a try.

If it still worries you than RMA, but you are probably going to get another doing the same noise and then you will be wasting your money on postage for nothing, it's still 15€ to ship it to UK.

Why in the name of... someone, they named this a 7870? Because if they had named it 7930 would that hinder 7950 sales, since in most games is like 90-95% same performance?

I would much prefer to see this cards named 7930 which is a much nicer sounding name imho.

4 is for normal people, 8 is for Gurus ;)

8 is pretty standard for even normal people, 16GB isn't too uncommonly seen here either (new desktop systems that is).

I'm sure Hilbert meant that 8GB is minimum for Guru's... And we use it too... :D
