I just tried CTR on a 5950X that I recently bought and got an error that prevents the program from working, the log file says "This processor is not supported!". Is it because it's "Stepping 2"? Any plans to support the new stepping?

Just found out, accidentally, that CTR has been replaced by Project Hydra. I wonder why this has never been advertised, especially since the project is commercial (there is a paid version through Patreon).

Just wondering since I've never bothered thinking about it before, but do you need to tinker around with ppt or similar things before using the program, or is that handled by it?

Ok
Super noob (semi noob) question, I am obsessed with temperature with my AMD (MAD) 5800x. Gaming at 1440p full resolution and effects, 3080ti I'm getting 65-72 celsius in God of War, Anno 1800, Sniper Contracts (older game). Prime95 85 degrees. I have a double 360 rad custom loop
Is this ok? I've asked in several places now. Will CTR 2.0 help with lowered and temps and keep some level of performance??
