ASUS ROG Maximus X Hero review 4

The turn goes to ASUS as they just released the ASUS ROG Maximus X Hero which we review. The Hero is a bit more budget aware, yet has that ROG flavor, and that can only mean good stuff. It has great looks and all the features you probably seek for a Z370 motherboard.

ASUS is like buying a mercedes over a honda(gigabyte).
Of course not that extreme of a difference but still.

Gigabyte BIOS layout IMO is just sh1t compared to ASUS.
ROG boards have the best OC potential, especially RAM oc.

Top end ROG boards are expensive plus have a lot of unused features usually for me.
That's why I'd go with the middle ground ASUS board.

I admit I didn't look closely but the UEFI Bios that both the Asus and Gigabyte boards are using in the 370 looks awfully similar..

Greetings from Switzerland ! As always a fantastic and complete review. Thank you very much ! A question, where did you get the 0402 bios ? My board came with an older one, working well but ... I can’t find a newer one or the 0402 on ASUS web site. Best regards, Gerard Langlois
