ASUS GeForce GTX 780 STRIX 6 GB Graphics Card Review

In this review we test the GeForce GTX 780 STRIX 6 GB Graphics Card from ASUS, the OC edition specifically. The customized product is equipped with a massive cooler that can be air-cooled, this unit comes with a whopping 6 GB graphics memory (rather handy with Watch Dogs we admit) and a verry hip looking cooler. As you can see, the DNA of the DirectCU II cooler is there, but the design is a little bit more well .. let's call it military ? Up-to 70 Degrees C the cooler doesn't even rotate, how's that for silence on an enthusiast class product ?

So basically the exact same performance as the GTX 780 just a higher price tag.
As usual anything over 3GB is useless unless your running triple ultra, super resolution monitors. This is getting boring. The way things are going Maxwell won't be here for another 5 years.

I would say 3 cards for 1440p or higher at 6gb.
Great card, but only worth it if you buy at least 2 of them, the GPU is simply too weak on its own with the 6 GB vram to be future proof.

Thermal images - Measure point1 (VRM) 103C
Not so effective as it looks., my zotac is cooler, was kinda surprised how cool, idle 30C load 55-70C, usually 62C..
