Don't know why my results differ but with ultra wide (close to 4k) resolution my 1080ti runs steady-ish 50 fps with ultra pre-set and resolution scale at 100%.
Maybe there are some calculations done based on vertical resolution. There have been games in past which had very different fps on different screen ratios even while pixel count was almost same.
21:9/25:9 are not exactly common or well tested.
It might be my favorite AC game... ! Haven't tried the one in Egypt tho.
When studio finished GoW: Valhalla, they realized its quality was not as good as other God of War games. So, they changed main character and released it as AC game.

Origins is probably the most interesting one from a historical perspective... especially if you are interested in ancient egypt!

Fairly confident that the adaptive setting is AA only, but adjust dynamically the resolution used in temporal upsampling.
Using Low AA preset gives a higher performance boost, by using a constantly lower resolution, than the Adaptive with 60FPS target, as the AA will output higher quality if frames are beyond 60FPS.
Really think that's a good tradeoff between quality and performance to let the game adjust it dynamically.
I felt the game looked and felt its best when i used Adaptive with 60FPS target + 110% resolution rendering.
Ah I see, the pre release description said changes game quality.
My bad!

Hey as long as dev didn't stepped it i have no idea. But that's an educated guess.
The Assassin Creed franchise have really experimented with different TAA and supersampling for years.

Ex Ubisoft, currently Google research

Maybe that site actually tweaking the Intel cpu the right way? 5000mhz ring, 4400mhz+ c17 tweaked memory, resulting in sub 35ns memorylatency and 70GB/s+ readspeed speed. Dual rank memory helps on Intel too.
I haven't seen that test, but I can only assume that is a possibility.
People has to learn to buy whatever they want, not to tell others what they should buy.
That's rather problem. Most of people who own such CPU got it as part of pre-built system. And those do not come with overexpensive memories, nor do shops spend time (money) to OC memories.
Comparing stock or close to stock behavior is reasonable way to give people baseline.
Most acceptable way to increase performance of chip in review without being biased is to improve cooling and increase power limits while stating that.
But clock should be left to auto, so results are at least remotely close to baseline.
Sure, you can move all cores to 5.1GHz. But that will destroy real world ratio between ST and MT performance 99.5% users get.
Objectivity is important.
Here, we have fair baseline comparisons. And then each part has its spotlight for OC where we can see what OC potential chip has.
And I think it is only sustainable way of managing results.
