It's not like any industry can just stop making their things, no matter the economy. Besides, there are still plenty of wealthy people in the world. 4090 was instantly sold out when it was released. Since then there has been some stock again, but still, point was made. There have been some rumours about the limited initial quantity of the 7900 cards, so it's possible AMD will be easily able to sell everything.

I'm assuming you're talking about ventilation slots on the I/O Plate. Those vents were borderline useless on anything that didn't have a blower style cooler
