bottom line:
don't buy the rx480 if you have an old/overly cheap motherboard, or your system will power down under high gpu load.
non issue right there.

for people who left leave their homes for the last 6 years, which is lets say 99%? yes. non issue.
for those who didnt. upgrade time. CPUs from 2010 wont bring advantages of modern day gpus to play. because -> cpu limited. (you can try any GPU you want
you know already?)
i knew what happened when i went from 955 black edition to my i7
with my 270x (half of the power of a RX480).
even my 270x was almost the same performance with the 955 BE i had before. compared to the 8800GT because i was just CPU limited.
and if you are CPU limited. you can upgrade cards as much as you want.
even if they are cheap. it wont help.
and if you wait until 2050, and amd releases a card thats 50$.
with a 2010 cpu it still will stay the same as with a RX480.
so. upgrade time. (but no sure. lets talk a little bit more about the big big issue. its fun.)

You're almost trying to say that a 2500k/2600k isn't enough for a 480. Ok.
