It has been a long time coming but we take a look at early and initial Mantle performance. The upcoming 14.1 Beta driver will receive many improvements. At the simplest level, Mantle is an Application Programming Interface (API), or a language that game developers can use to write code that creates the beautiful graphics on your screen. In its current iteration, the Mantle API uniquely leverages the hardware in the Graphics Core Next architecture (GCN) of modern AMD Radeon.

and what is wrong with that? if the engine can show the power of mantle why not include it?
it is not that big of a deal because in fact it is nothing more that a tech demo
Totally catered/altered and designed to show of Mantle, not an objective benchmark whatsoever.

Wow with so little time with the new driver I think the results are very good.

And the audio part? I guess that will be included in another review.
Does improve framerates but doesnt seem a massive amount. If I were nvidia I wouldnt be 2 worried at this stage..(which is still early days).
