AMD FX 8350 processor review 4

Posted by: Hilbert Hagedoorn on: 10/23/2012 03:56 AM [ 83 comment(s) ]

We review the AMD FX 8350 processor today. You guys have been hearing the magic word 'Vishera' for a while now and it is the codename for the new Piledriver core based FX series processors from AMD. The CPU tested today has eight physical CPU cores, it will have a base clock of 4000 MHz, and can Turbo towards 4200. And that makes the FX series a multi-threaded high frequency monster. You can read our review right here at Guru3D of course.

recording be damned i never used such a function short of like 3 times to show bugs.

I been looking for years a way to show GPU usage/Temp and CPU usage/Temp in fullscreen. this program makes it show much easier to find if it Cpu or Gpu bottleneck going.

Apprantly this game has this Althon 64 x2 pegged at around 70-100% cpu usage in game. Gpu around 60-70%. and it still manages to keep about 30fps

Not bad for how old this cpu and gpu is and how new the game is. still think 70+c in game on cpu is way to high.

Thanks a bunch for telling me about playclaw.

Wow this is pretty good much better then Fraps, It would be perfect if it could show CPU Speed,Gpu, Gpu memory Speed and system Ram usage.

thanks. This will be replacing Fraps

you can also use MSI AFTERBURNER for that it can show ingame GPU usage GPU memory usage, Temperature etc...

so does EVGA Precision, I wanted some thing that does it all, And playclaw is the closest to doing them all in one
