Zalman announced the availability of Z-Machine Gaming gear series ZM-K700M, a minimalist mechanical gaming keyboard with 1-color back-lighting for gamers built with 100% authentic Cherry MX switches. Essentially, what separates this from other Cherry MX keyboard is the built-in macro feature. In other words, no software needed to bind/change keys or execute a script. A performance keyboard designed for gamers with a refined sense of style and sophistication. The ZM-K700M is a performance keyboard: A plug and play design makes sure that profiles, macros, and color back-lighting modes, are all quickly and easily customizable without the need for complex software.

  • 100% German-made Cherry MX Red mechanical key switches for ultimate performance
  • Back-lighting per key
  • Key Switch Cherry MX Red mechanical Switches
  • Backlighting (one color White)
  • Report Rate - 1000 Hz (USB) Rollover 104-Key
  • 100% Anti-Ghosting
  • 5 macro keys / programmed without use of software

Soft to the touch and long lasting, this keyboard has been fitted with coated keys which delivers a good experience while protecting the keys for durable, long-lasting game play. Now you can say goodbye to missing letters and unsightly, discolored keys. The ZM-K700M features back-lighting (white). Multiple lighting modes are included like wave, breathing, and unique responsive effects. Very interesting is the Equalizer effect, based on ambient sound the keys will light up as EQ.

Five lighting modes are at your disposal instantly. Also, the ZM-K700M has anti-ghosting with full-key rollover over USB. This ensures that each key press is correctly detected regardless of how many other keys are being actuated. Never miss a beat and stay accurate even when your game gets fast and furious. Furthermore, Zalman will likely continue to provide updates like new LED lighting anims and keyboard functions on the ZM-K700M product page.

Above you can see the white LED activated. The ZM
-K700M comes with a  braided, cloth cable that won’t strain or fray. Typically  the Cherry MX switches can withstand over 50 million key presses. Back-lighting on a Cherry MX switch is sharper than that of a membrane keyboard because each key is lit by an individual LED and not in an array. This means that if the user removes the keycap, he or she should see an LED directly under it that maximizes the lighting effect.
