Product showcase

Zadak memory is available with only one version of the heat spreader. The RAM comes packed in an elegant box. Information about capacity and frequency is printed on the back of the pack, along with some more info about the product itself.

Let’s check what’s inside. And… you can see the modules secured with a very thick layer of foam. The looks are very elegant, and different from other products on the market. Of course, radiators are integrated with the PCB by means of an adhesive pad on each side, and dismantling them would require using significant strength (or heating up with a hairdryer for a longer period), so I did not do this, and do not recommend it either (as it would void the warranty). The top cover is made of brushed aluminium.

Here is what it looks like after unpacking. These are four 8 GB modules running at 4133 MHz. You can see the black PCB here and also the name of the brand in the upper-middle part of the module. The aluminium heat spreader has a matte finish. The stickers tell you that it is a double kit of 2 x 8 GB modules operating at 4133 MHz, with CL19, at 1.4 Volts. This should be more than enough for the typical user/gamer, even if you process video or graphics. For optimal performance, we recommend sticking to the settings from the preconfigured XMP profile.

The total height of the stick is about 49.7 mm/1.96 inch. That’s definitely not a low-profile module, so you might have some problems with air coolers but, as always, we recommend to double-check whether any clearance issues won’t occur before you buy this set.
