The 6600 XT series will not (yet) replace the Navi lineup in the form of the 5600/5700;  Radeon RX 6600 XT also has 2048 stream/Shader processors active. However, the L3 cache and RDNA2 GPU architecture will make this a faster product. This AIB card registers at a 2607 MHz max Turbo clock. The BIOS offers fan stop in idle, meaning the card is passive (not fans spinning) when not utilized, and that brings you the fortunate effect of a silent product.  You'll notice two spinners and a single 8-pin power connector.

XFX will have 2 Black Edition models of the 6600 XT: the MERC 308 and the QICK 308. Both models share identical PCB, power delivery, BIOS tuning, heatsink, and fans. The only difference is that the MERC 308 features LED XFX and RADEON branding. The QICK 308 has no such LED lighting. XFX utilizes a 1 piece nickel plated copper cold plate to keep the GPU and Memory cool. The Cold Plate is connected to (4) 6mm nickel plated heat pipes

The XFX MERC and QICK 308 6600 XT Black utilizes a 6+2 phase design. The default BIOS delivers 145 watts of power. AMD’s reference specification for the 6600 XT is 130 watts (TGP, the TBP is 160W). The GPU is managed by an IR35217 voltage controller and NCP302155 MOSfets.

This model card is equipped with a dual BIOS. Currently, both BIOS positions are the same BIOS. There are no differences at this time.
