RMAA Measurements (2)

Windy 6

THD+Noise (THD+N): Is the measured result of the Total harmonic distortion and noise present in the audio signal. This measurement is a combination as a plain THD measurement only presents so much information as there is other "extra energy" present in the output such as hum, buzz or other noise. The lower the measured value the lower the distortion present in the signal.
The measured THD+Noise amounts for the Windy 6 recording interface are very good to excellent depending on the bit depth and frequency.

Windy 6

Intermodulation Distortion: is the measured result of non-linearity's present in the audio signal, where one frequency component can modulate another component of the frequency. The measured amounts of IMD for the Windy 6 recording interface are excellent.

Windy 6

Stereo Crosstalk: is simply the measured "bleed-through" of signal from one channel to the next channel. The lower the measured result the less bleed through is present in the output audio signal. The measured values for stereo crosstalk present for Windy 6 are excellent.
