Packaging

The Infrasonic Windy 6 comes in a "Briefcase" type of cardboard package allowing you to use the package to transport the device to and from recording gig's if you have no other enclosure for the device.

Windy 6

We can see the slogans and enclosed software stickers making the package all the more enticing when looking for some new muscle for your home studio. The packaging also allows you to check out the interface and enclosed bundle by simply opening the top when in your local PC shop.

Let's have a look and see what we have in the box Â…

What's in the box?

Windy 6

As we can see, everything is enclosed and protected by high density foam ensuring no damage comes to your interface during heavy hand shipping or when your recording gig gets a bit rowdy as they always seem to.

Let's take a look at what we get for our hard earned audio dollarsÂ…

Windy 6

The Windy6 arrived to the Guru3D Audio Lab in pristine condition, without a scratch or mark. Included in the box, we get the Windy 6 Firewire interface, pin adapter, Firewire cable, AC adaptor and software bundle.
Everything you need to get moving quickly when inspiration for a new song strikes or a impromptu jam breaks out in your basement.

Windy 6 FireWire audio interface review
Today, we will be looking at a new product from Infrasonic, namely the Windy6 Firewire recording interface. We have this new interface in the Guru3D audio Lab and we are interested in running it through its paces and gauging what this new audio product has to offer the PC audio community. One last note this is a Guru3d Audio Lab exclusive as this interface is still unreleased in North America at press time.
