Final words and conclusion

The vCase3 Premium chassis from Vidabox is blatantly beautiful to look at, well... if it matches your taste of course. Next to that the concept has been thought through really well. Simplicity and aesthetics are the two words that come to mind when I think about this chassis.

You have plenty of space to work in and you can definitely load up the chassis with a lot of components. It will hold one optical drive and can house up to three HDDs (the third one can be located underneath the ODD).

The front side has a nice black brushed aluminum finish and to preserve a little on overall costs and thus your dough the rest of the chassis is made out of black painted steel. This is easily one of the more interesting mATX HTPC chassis' currently available on the market.

An HTPC chassis however is still a scarce item to find -- demand is just not very high, making these products more expensive. The vCase3 Premium chassis as such is priced at 199 USD, which certainly is a lot of money for a chassis. But given they started out at 299 USD at launch, it already sounds a whole lot better at 199 USD.

Granted though, we like the simplicity, and versatility. The vCase3 can house multiple HDDs, a regular power supply and with the current selection of mATX motherboards available can make a serious HTPC or even regular PC. Rubber feet, sleek black design, good interior, good connectivity, anti-vibration ODD/HDD protection and we didn't even mention it, but the fan is quite silent as well. We really can appreciate this chassis for what it is, does and offers.

guru3d-recommended_150px.jpgShould you be interested in this product go to VidaBox through this link, order the chassis and enter this Guru3D coupon code vCase3-Guru3D, it will shave off 50 USD of the 199 USD price, bringing the purchase price to 149 USD.

And that my friends makes this chassis worth every penny. Very much recommended.
