When we look at the cooling base we see that it is using DHT ('heatpipe direct touch' or 'direct contact heatpipes') technology as the 8mm diameter copper heatpipes are merged into the aluminum base block and then pressed flat.

It's a method that is getting more popular and sure, it works really well.

The 25x120x120mm fan needs to be mounted onto the heatsink and is secured with small iron brackets. It works .. but sexy it surely it is not.

Right, installation time. The installation process is fairly simple. You however do need to take out the motherboard out of the PC, then apply a backplate.
