iCute - Coolive (QH01-5G1-BB)

iCute also known under casepower.com.tw, recently sent us one of their latest cases, and quite a stunning one also. This little black devil is from the model series Coolive and carries the label QH01-5G1-BB, I figured I mention that label because right now this case is hard to find and you want to write it down as you'll probably won't remember that model name.

It's funny that the company is called iCute because this casing is cute. It's extremely small, yet is one of the best looking and performing cases we tested to date. The design is targeted at the stylish demanding user who needs good cooling. Now when you look at the photo's obviously you'll notice that huge fan. It's pretty much the only fan available in the casing as it's a rather sufficient one with it's 25CM wide span. High performance .. yet seriously low noise though as we'll show you our measurements.

This is a mini ATX tower case that supports both ATX and mATX mainboards. The Coolive can hold 3x 5.25" optical drives and 3x 3.25" Floppy drives or HDs. That's not an extreme amount of space bit sufficient for the most of you. The case is extremely small and slim which makes it stand out of the rest of the casing. A nice black painted finish is applied on the casing and the front bezel has a large mesh of holes to ensure lot's of ventilation.

Do you know what this product costs ? Roughly 40 USD.

Let's have a look at the photo shoot of the Coolive QH01-5G1-BB.

There it is, the first glimpse of the casing. You probably agree with me that this is a pretty dandy looking case. It's really small yet cooling is fantastic. It's no-where close but it has a certain Lian-Li style there due to that mesh in the front bezel.

At the right side panel we can see an etched Coolive logo. Loads of ventilation wholes also. The paint is has black metallic finish. It's a good paint job with not a dent on it.

At the backside we see we could mount additional fans. not needed though. Now look at the spot where usually your PSU is mounted. Yeah .. we'll show you later on.
