Thermalright HR-02 CPU cooler review

Despite being a huge cooler there is plenty of space to work with, you can position the cooler whatever way you like, or whatever is best in combo with a fan installed in your particular PC.

You pin down the cooler by inserting a pressure vault bracket, here you can see why a long screwdriver was included. We recommend you use full pressure (40~70 lbs.) by turning that big ol' knob on the bracket with the supplied wrench all the way to its maximum. Then it's just a matter of tightening two screws and you are good to go... if you want to cool passively that is. If not, here's the moment where you can choose a position for your fan and secure it. Some rubber strips are included as well to prevent fan resonation.

Right, once the motherboard is out, 10 minutes work maximum, we positioned the cooler and are ready for the first test run, passive cooling. After which we'll use fan based cooling as well of course.
