Product Showcase

Okay, we're going to have a closer look at the product guided with the help of lots of photos. As always packaging and bundle first. Inside the keyboard with mech switches, 1,000 Hz polling, full-key rollover though, over USB and 100% anti-ghosting.

Unpacking shows a ralatively simple bundle, the keyboard, USB cable and a manual/warranty guide. You propably noticed it, Tesoro is using low-profile keycaps, these have a shorter key travel distance compared to other brands and or models. The GRAM (mythical sword of the Norse dragon-slaying hero Sigurd) Spectrum does not comes with with extra rugged WASD keys or anything like a wrist-rest. Across the keyboard you will notice RGB back-lights on the GRAM, these can be dimmed, colored and configured. We'll show you the keyboard powered on over the next few pages of course. And to demonstrate the coolness factor, we'll have a video as well.

Once we have a better and closer look at the keyboard the word sturdy comes to mind. The keyboard feels nice and heavy, made out of a plastic base. You will notice that we received the dark black model. Everything is sharp looking with straight lines. The unit weights just over 1 kg and will sit nicely on your desktop.

The GRAM Spectrum doesn't shine in a lot of extra keys, mostly you'll get more functionally by using function keys with extra features hidden under your regular keys. Special functions can be accessed via special keystroke combinations. By pressing the Fn key the F1-F6 keys allow for programmed profile selection, the F7-F12 keys offer basic media and sound volume controls, and the arrow keys allow for illumination adjustments. Also that font, I cannot get used to it. I can type blind, but inevitably you WILL look at your keyboard for positioning every now and then. Lovers will love, haters will hate and I am afraid I am in the last category when it comes to that font. The media function keys on the keyboard itself are basic yet functional. There is also a windows lock mode key on the opposing side, which allows you to disable the Windows key and get dropped back to the desktop by accident in a hefty gaming session.
