We have a Core i9 7900X heck, who not just simply run 20-threaded 1,024M of wPrime and see how performance behaves. 2,133 MHz versus 3,000 MHz:
So going from 2,133 MHz towards 3,000 MHz on the memory shaved off merely milliseconds on calculating a 1,024M of Prime numbers. Normally you'd see a 2-3 second gain, however with this memory the JEDEC SPD 2,133 reverts towards a CL15 settings (speeding that frequency up).
