Team Group memory is available with heat spreaders in two colours. The one in the review is red (should be faster, right? :) ), and the other available option is grey. The RAM comes packed in a clamshell blister with a red-and-black card inside.

No information about capacity or frequency is provided on the front of the pack, and you can only see the name of the brand and the series there. On the back, you’ll find some more info about the product. As mentioned, the packaging is a very typical clamshell design. It is a cheap but effective solution. The blister holds the stick securely.

 
Let’s take a look at the product now. The radiators are integrated with the PCB by means of an adhesive pad on each side, and dismantling them would require using significant strength (or heating up with a hairdryer for a longer period), so I did not do this, and do not recommend it either.

Here is what it looks like after unpacking. These are two 8 GB modules running at 3200 MHz. They don’t seem too flashy despite the red colour. You can see the black PCB here as well. The aluminium heat spreader has a matte finish. The sticker tells you that it is a kit of 2 x 8 GB modules operating at 3200 MHz, with CL16, at 1.35 Volts. This should be satisfactory for the typical user/gamer, but if you process video or graphics, then you’d want more capacity. For optimal performance, we recommend sticking to the settings from the preconfigured XMP profile.

The total height of the stick is about 32.0 mm/1.26 inch. That’s a low-profile module, so you shouldn’t have any issues with the majority of air coolers on the market but, as always, we recommend to double-check whether any clearance issues might occur before you buy this set.
