A heat spreader does not always bring the temperature down. Rather than that, it moves the heat from the chips to the PCB, distributing it more evenly throughout the entire module, and eliminating potential hot-spots. Theoretically, this should allow better overclocking. T-Force Night Hawk RGB Legend memory is definitely not a low profile kit (as it’s 52 mm high).

When powered up, the lighting is bright and clear. The backlight is even. You can choose one of a variety of colours, but you can also set some stunning transitions and fade effects using one the popular lighting system brands, e.g. Asus Aura (the most common example) or T-Force Blitz from Team Group.
