SSD Operating Temperatures
Temperature Measurements
During our test benchmarks stress tests with a high-stress workload, we monitor the SSD temperature. The controller reports a temp of roughly 65 Degrees, which is high yet normal for this class of product.
Under extreme load the controller heats up even further though, reaching 80 Degrees C. For high-speed enthusiast class performance SSDs we do recommend you to use a heatsink, as provided by pretty much any motherboard manufacturers these days. If not, please spend that whopping 3 bucks on Ali-express okay?
