Core i7 8700K Baseline test
Time for the essence of this review. The Silverstone PERMAFROST should be more than enough for the range of CPUs from the Pentium to the Core i7 hexa-core, or even the Core i9 octa-core. We ran the test at the default frequencies, but there should still be some room left for OC. First up is the IDLE temperature, measured when the CPU is doing almost nothing, just waiting for any action by the user.
Here, it’s becoming more interesting, and you can see some differences. The ambient temperature was about 22 degrees C, which does affect the cooling performance for sure, but all the previous coolers were tested in similar conditions. You don’t want to have the CPU above 75-80 degrees at default frequencies, otherwise, you can assume that the cooler is surely doing a very average/poor job. This AIO cooler offers good performance. It's similarly effective to the NZXT Kraken X62 or the Asus Ryuo/Ryujin series (losing only by a small margin). On the next page, we’ll show you how silent the cooler is.
Today, we are reviewing an AIO cooler from Silverstone: the Permafrost PF240. Silverstone is not entirely a newcomer in the AIO segment of the market. In the past, they introduced the Tundra series ...

SilverStone 750 Watt ATX Power Supply
Today we will have a look at the Zeus 750 Watt continuous power supply from Silverstone. A really awe-inspiring power supply with four (yes four) +12 Volts rails and which is also an SLI ready power supply. We'll put it to the test buy using our quad SLI setup. The new Zeus is cool, literally, as up to 750W it'll maintain a temperature of 50°C. You get 60 AMPs combined (over 700W) for these four +12V rails alone, making the ST75ZF capable of powering any top of the line system available today and the near future.
