It certainly has been a while since we reviewed a product for Silicon Power. A little while ago they released the so called M10 SSD drive, which in fact is an SSD that can be used externally, thus outside your PC as it comes with a Mini USB connector and special design casing.
So when I first received some photo's of this product I noticed that it had a nice carbon fiber design. Posh and dandy are two keyword that came to mind. And since we keep a horribly close eye on everything SSD related these days, I asked for a sample to be tested here in the Guru3D lab.
As such last week Silicon power submitted the 64GB model for review, and though the product is not targeted at a high-end market performance but leans more towards a portable mobile market .. this little drive could definitely be interesting for a lot of you guys.
So before we begin let me clearly state, this drive is not intended to be compared with offerings like OCZ Vertex or the P128 from Corsair. no Sir. Just affordable external storage solution for fast mobile performance at an okay price.
