The Scythe Mugen 5 Black Editions has been introduced in 2021:
“The legendary Mugen 5 Black Edition CPU cooler has received a design update with the Black Edition. Starting with the high-quality packaging, the black finish runs consistently through the entire product. The heat sink, including the copper heat pipes, were coated in a matt black. Both the complete assembly system and the fan clips fit seamlessly into the new style. The aluminum top plate was decorated with a striking diamond-cut Scythe logo. The color of the fan from the Kaze Flex 120 PWM series has also been matched. Important features of the fan series, such as the vibration absorbers in the corners of the frame and the unique, enclosed fluid dynamic bearing (Sealed Precision FDB), are also used here. In addition, the speed range of the fan has been extended to 1,500 RPM.
