Scythe's normal retail package for the Mugen 5 Rev. C is densely packed with information. The cooler is depicted on the front, and it does state that it is compatible with Intel's LGA 1700 socket. On one side we have a full list of specifications as well as dimensions of not only the cooler, but the fan as well. On the other side some of the main features are detailed. Finally, on the rear, there is information about the warranty, which is two years.

The new fan keeps the tower configuration cool. Fan blade rotation speed may be as low as 300 RPM and as high as 1500 RPM when full power is supplied. Airflow ranges from 5.6 at the low end to 79 CFM at the high end, producing up to 1.56 mmH2O of pressure while spinning on the sleeve bearing.

You'll spot a back-plate that supports a wide variety of CPU sockets; Intel LGA 2011 / 1366 / 1156 / 1155 / 1150 / 1200 and AMD Socket AM3 / AM4 based processors can be used in combination with this cooler. Scythe includes three sets of fan clips using the Fuma Rev.B. This is plenty to cover the two fans included in the package and allow for the addition of a third fan if desired.

A Scythe Kaze Flex II  fan is included which features blades enclosed by a black frame and a sleeved wire with a 4-pin PWM connector at the end. One thing to keep in mind is that no isolation material is pre-applied or included with the hardware.
