Username?
Tmaster. I have no idea why I picked that the username for me, I use it a lot … I dunno it just sounds good :D

Age/Occupation/Location?
Hmmm.. I'm gonna be 19 on 4th of July. Well now I'm serving in the Israeli army. You can say I'm a programmer and the guy that is in charge of the computers in the whole department.

How long have you been a member of Guru3D forums?
06-27-2004 – for about a year.

What did you first come here for?
Well I was about to change my riva tnt2 – 32mb to a gforce because my old card didn’t support the T&L lighting and no game would run. At that time the card that was the biggest seller was a gforce 4 MX, but I wanted better so I checked the site and I saw some awesome reviews of the gforce 4 ti 4200 128 DDR. It was at the right price range so I bought it. Have it until now and I'm pleased (for now).

What do you mainly use the system for?
Well at first it was for programming. For school I needed to make a website as my computer project in asp.net. And secondary it was for gaming, so now that I've finished school, gaming is #1 and it's all I do! :D

How much did you spend on the rig?
Quite a lot actually but not at once. Close to 6k NIS (new Israeli shekel) including a flat screen which is close to 1.5k $. 1$=4.5 nis.

How often do you update/buy a new rig?
I upgrade it when I see that my computer doesn’t follow the latest technology. Which reminds me, I need a new video card. :P

What components are used?
• My brand new case – Thermaltake V8000 WinGO
• Monitor – LG Flatron L1730S 12ms
• VideoCard – Geforce 4 Ti 4200 128DDR – Inno3d
• Memory – Kingston 2.5 512mb 400Mhz
• Motherboard – Gigabyte Ga8st800 – Sis chipset 645DX
• CPU – Intel 2.4 ghz 533fsb
• My brand new CPU Fan – Gigabyte 3d Rocket
• HD – 40gb 7200 8mb buffer
• Roms – burner – Samsung 52X 36X 52X – DVD – Compaq something (not burner , regular dvd)

Why ATI or NVIDIA, why Intel/AMD?
Well actually my next card is gonna be ATI because they are just better. :P I'm very pleased with the reviews on the Radeons. Nvidia is good as well but they always seem to have some heating issues in their best versions. And I use Intel because of the warranty. Simple as that .

Does the system work as expected?
All I can say is it lasts. For now it works good, the only thing I need to change is the video card but I'm waiting for the final result on what's better - the SLI system or Crossfire. I dunno, I'm waiting for the tech to settle down and officially announce on the best tech then I'll buy a new rig that supports it.

What's the best part of your rig?
Hmmm .. my case ? Because it’s the prettiest, hehe.

What sucks and should not have been bought?
Motherboard! Eeeeeeek. I still have AGP*4! Mother of God. :

Modified cases/video cards/other? Did you do it yourself? Walk us through it.
Hmmm, nope.

3DMark scores?
Don’t have, don’t want to.

Future upgrades?
Motherboard and a video card, like I mentioned before.
