As you can see the HIS card and the reference model are 100% similar in design.

Same design, same connectivity -- same board really. Look at all the digital connectivity, I so much like that.

At the rear side of that rounded curve on the card we see two air intakes. The card is designed in such a manner that it will take in air from inside your PC and exhaust the heated air outside the PC.

As always we recommend you to have a well ventilated PC with at least a 120mm intake and exhaust. Create some airflow fellas, really important.

We feel it is quite respectable how ATI managed to deal with the power envelope. Remember, performance has doubled up, plus we have some new gadgets on-board. Meanwhile the power consumption maxes out at just 108 Watts for the Radeon HD 5770. As such one 6-pin power connector is all you need to connect, delivering 75 Watts, adding up to 150 Watts (75W through the PCIe slot).
