So here we have a top-side view of the reference sample. This sample is equipped with 1024MB GDDR3 memory clocked at 900 MHz. gDDR3 being double data rate memory will give the card in fact twice the bandwidth as the effective memory frequency can be noted down as 1800 MHz.

Looking at the top side of the card we see simplicity at it's best. And the reason I'm showing it is that you are not seeing any Crossfire connectors. That's correct, the card is Crossfire ready though, you can just pop in two of them on your motherboard and enable Crossfire in the drivers. All data is exchanged over the PCIe bus. But really, for gaming just buy a real dedicated gaming card please. At the backside we see some memory chips located, let's zoom in a little.

This card uses Samsung k4w1g1646e-hc11 memory chips, this is gDDR3 memory rated at 900 MHz which run over a 128-bit memory interface.

So yeah, that's it really. No need for external power connectors or anything, simplicity in it's most pure form. But you'll agree with me that for 69 USD the product looks good, and is equipped with a nice variety of connectivity.
