This card uses Samsung k4w1g1646e-hc11 memory chips, this is gDDR3 memory rated at 900 MHz running over a 64-bit controller / bus..
Looking at the top side of the card we see simplicity at it's best. And the reason I'm showing it is that you are not seeing any Crossfire connectors. That's correct, the card is Crossfire ready though, you can just pop in two of them on your motherboard and enable Crossfire in the drivers. All data is exchanged over the PCIe bus. But really, for gaming just buy a real dedicated gaming card please.
So yeah, that's it really. No need for external power connectors or anything, simplicity in it's most pure form. But you'll agree with me that for 49 USD the product looks good, and is equipped with a nice variety of connectivity.
We test and review the PowerColor Radeon HD 7850 SCS3 today. This stock clocked Radeon HD 7850 is cooled passively, meaning it has no fans tool it down. That also means it's rather silent as it does not make any noise. But what about temperatures then you must be wondering ?
