The card comes with the type of cooling we are used to from AMD/ATI. Overall, cooling functions well and the noise levels remain acceptable. We'll show you some measurement on that later on in this article of course.

The backside of the product shows that everything is reference, 100% similar for both cards. Make note of two CrossfireX connectors, this card can only be setup in 2/3/4-way multi-GPU mode. We'll be testing that in a separate article of course.
Located at the top side of the cards we spot power connectors. The R6950 will require two 6-pin PCIe PEG power connectors whereas the R6970 will need one 6-pin and one 8-pin PCIe PEG power connectors.
