Available starting August 13th, 2018 these SKUs are offering you quad-channel memory and 64 lanes of PCIe gen 3.0. That memory will run at the same clock as the infinity fabric.

And here the backside, 4094-pin sTR4 socket so yeah, that's 4094 pins there. I'll take their word for it :)  You already have seen a number of X399 motherboard announcements, and it is no secret that processors will initially be released in the HEDT (High-End Desktop) segment.

So yeah, when you have one in your hands, you realize the Threadripper packages are plenty heavy, I placed it on a scale, these weigh in at ~138g a piece.

Our press kit also includes two cooler, one Enermax Liqtech LCS kit, the other is that Wraith ripper luminous air cooler, partnered with cooler-master. Though sufficient for all thread ripper, we really recommend an LCS based cooler, as XFR2 really works well with a lower base temperature and corresponding cooling capacity.

The cooler has a full coverage block, we'll show you some photos of this cooler in the review of course, as it has the necessary RGB bling as well, next to being a proper cooler.

The Coolermaster cooler, however, has a massive flaw, it will block the upper PCIe x16 slot ... and no. You can not reverse the cooler, it fits only in this way due to the nature of the mounting system.
