PowerColor Radeon X1900 GT 256MB reviewIn today's review we'll be having a look at a new product from PowerColor, this particular brand has been around for quite a few years now and the true ancient gurus among you will even remember a few product reviews from them in the past, the 3dfx era. Tul, the actual company behind the PowerColor line of products, asked us if we would be interested in reviewing some of their products a while ago, and so we did. Over the years Powercolor has grown to be a majestic brand in the industry.

Roughly 3 weeks ago ATI released yet another graphics card onto the market that comes from the successful X1000 series of graphics cards. It's targeted at the high-end segment yet in the lower price range - the product  is being positioned against NVIDIA's 299 dollar GeForce 7900 GT.

Today we'll be peeking at the rather lovely Radeon X1900 GT from this company. So here it is my fellow guru's, a review on ATI's latest 12-pipe mid-range product based on the R580 silicon, which quite frankly is a very credible graphics card as you'll learn in this article. The card features 36 Pixel Shaders and eight vertex Shaders yet has been massively castrated to twelve pixel pipelines.

The product offers up-to three times the performance of the X1600 Pro yet carries a pricetag of sub 299 USD. Mesmerizing ? Yeah I agree .. absolutely.

With that being said I'd like to invite you to hit the next page where we'll start off with a little technical information on the new Radeon X1900 GT, discuss it's pricing followed by a little photo shoot, after which we'll startup a large benchmark session to see how well it behaved performance wise.

Does that sound interesting ?  Good .. next page please.
