The card can ooze out roughly 6.1 TFLOPS in single precision performance (based on AMD claims / measurements). The 14nm FinFET+ process based Radeon RX 580 is rated at a 185 Watt TDP and has 36 CUs x 64 shader processors per CU = 2304 Shader processors).

The model tested is triple-slot based but only 25cm in length. Above the cooler and cooling design. Two fans, and yes three slots it will eat. It seems the RX580 eats more voltage and thus gets hot, hence that  massive cooler. Well that and this card may boost to a nice 1425 MHz.

You are going to spot a 6 and 8-pin power connector that feeds the power phase design. Basically it delivers 225 Watts and then another 75 Watts is fed though the PCI-Express slot (depending on how the phase distribution is configured). In theory this means enough headroom for tweaking. So the backside has a nice looking back-plate with some but not many vents.

As stated monitor display outputs include one DVI, three DisplayPort 1.4 connectors and one HDMI 2.0b outputs. Overall the card design is more of the same in terms of aesthetics. Nice dark looks. The card also has been fitted with a proper back-plate.

No flashing and animated RBG LEDs, just a subtle led lit Red Devil logo at the top. you know what, I am absolutely fine with the lack of all these complex RGB LED setups. It's a graphics card not a Christmas tree.
