Specifications & Features

The sample that Plextor submitted is the 256GB model. This series is equipped with Toshiba Toggle NAND flash memory from the A15nm node. The NAND flash used is labeled: TH58TFG8DDLTA2D. This product is a notch slower in writes overall though due to that NAND Flash memory, but overall the previous generations are sitting roughly in the same domain performance wise. Below, an overview of the models released in respect to their specifications.

Plextor will release three models, 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB. Due to the architecture and memory channels used, the 128 GB and 256 GB models will be a slower in write performance, albeit that is a very modest performance difference. This is pretty much the rule of thumb for any brand BTW. Still, a 256 GB SSD performing at 530 MB/sec read and 335 MB/sec write performance remains fast, especially if you keep the price in mind as.

  • SATA 3 - 6Gbp/s Interface
  • A15nm Toshiba Toggle NAND Flash
  • 7mm form factor
  • 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB models
  • Performance and endurance without compression/loss of usable capacity
  • TRIM support
  • 3 Year Warranty
Plextor is not listing write endarance numbers.
