The following images were taken at high-resolution and then cropped and scaled down. The camera used was a Canon DSLR using 12 MegaPixel photo's.
Right then, above packaging. The latest and greatest comes in a 256 GB package. Performance is listed at 540MB/s read and 430MB/s writes with 70,000 IOPS at 4k random write aligned disk access with our tested 256GB model.
And there it is, this is the mSATA 256 GB version all packaged up in the bundle. You should easily be able to place it somewhere in your mobile device or motherboard with an mSATA port. If not, you can use a converter to SATA3 though. The SSD supports TRIM making sure your SSD will regain it's speed once in idle.
The M5M currently is maximum at 256GB, this is because the that is the maximum volume that you can currently achieve with four NAND packages and 8GB die (4x8x8GB). Perhaps once 16GB per die NAND will get available in higher volumes, we'll see a 512GB version as well.
mSATA is funky, the lenght of the device is roughly 5cm only, that's about two inches. To be precise, the mSATA form factor specifies mSATA 51 x 30 x 0.8mm.
